I was looking through all the old fic request/fic meme posts I've made in this journal before, trying to see if I could get inspired by any of them and post them for people who'd even forgotten they'd asked, but to no avail. An here I am once again looking for something to write. So three memes for you in one!

Episode Title Meme: Pick any TV show you like (doesn't have to be one I know personally) and choose an episode title from any of the series/seasons of that show, and I shall try to write something based around that title. You can pick more than one, and if it's something you think Idon't know of, just let me know the show and the season the episode is from, for my curiosity as well as accuracy :) You can pick a fandom/pairing for me to write from the lists below too if you wish.

"You cannot assume all that just because I refused one of your cigarettes!" Charles had laughed, but inside he was still wary of Erik Lensherr. He hadn't been consciously trailing the other man's mind but all of a sudden, before they had even met eyes, he had heard the low humming of Erik's thoughts. Smug, over-confident, and hiding many a secret behind his mask of sophistication. Tweaking a finger in his pocket to ease a thumb tack out of his shoe as he walked. Thank goodness it wasn't gum.
It was Erik's fault in more ways than one that things had turned out this way.

Challenge: From EroticSaints on GJ: Starting with a drabble of exactly 100 words, write a series of drabbles each fifty words longer than the last. There is no limit on how many you want to write. As long as they go 100 words, 150, 200, 250, etc. And you must include the five words from ONE set of your choice below. Tenses can be changed!
Notes: I used Set 3: lost, chatter, vision, minute, awkward

It started with a lost sock; if it had been anyone else (except Scott maybe), the sock would have stayed lost and to hell with it. It was only a sock, nothing to be kept awake at night by. But this was Bobby, and Bobby couldn't help but want to keep everything perfect. Then there were no excuses for anyone to ever disapprove of him. If he had only been normal, he wouldn't be here at all.
There was nothing wrong with Xavier's Institute, except that it was such a large place it was inexplainably easy to lose one's socks!

So, in the interest of getting ideas for what to write (yes I'm too lazy to work on a 4,000 word chapter that's over half done when I know where it's going, but not too lazy to write random drabbles/ficlets/etc) I have a couple of prompt things yoinked for various places for you to comment me with! :)
Firstly, the lyrics one. Simple: You post up some lyrics along with a pairing and I see what I can write from it. I did nick this from somewhere but don't have the link anymore :/
And secondly, from here, the Post-It challenge. A "post-it" note from one person to another that I can use to get an idea from.
Neither the lyrics or the actual post-it note will be included in the fic if I don't find it necessary, it's just meant to inspire and be a starting point.
...And I know people have posted prompts for me ebfore and I haven't done them and I thank you for that and I'm sorry, but quite frankly my attention span and bursts of writing do sort of run out. So you either have to get right in there as quick as you can, or have an idea that really grabs me.
Post as many times as you like and I'll see what I can do! :)

Okay well I just added all my recent fic to my memories. And by recent, I pretty much mean anything I've written on LJ since I switched to this fic journal. So it's not just stuff from satj, but from emothy and another random writing journal I have, fsop too. And also the drabbles I post quite regularly in response to challenges over at minusthe__text.
I might possibly start archiving some things from emapril_showers over here too, but just the stuff I like maybe *cough*. But yeah, this is to have it all collected together in an easy-to-find place. I know LJ memories don't seem that reliable, but whenever it tells me "the memories feature is currently unavailable" I just click refresh once [and sometimes twice] and it loads just fine.
So just a heads up. If you wanted to go back and comment on anything feel free :) I mean, one of the stipulations on this journal to be added [and STAY added] was to comment once in a while. I mean even once a month or just ONE something isn't too much to ask is it? And some people on this journal's friendslist have never commented. If you want OFF again just ask! So you know, go through old stuff, read, enjoy, comment a little!
And no, while I'm here I don't have anything new for you [though there will be stuff in the memories you haven't seen before if you aren't on the other journals I mentioned above] because quite frankly, I'm a little stumped for what to write. truntles and ithilmenel both recently asked for prompts/pairings/lyrics/quotes/etc etc to jump-start them into writing again, and well, if anyone wants to do the same here, leave a comment. The only things I have to say are:
- I can't really do PWP, I can write smut but it takes a long time and it's a painful process for me. And usually ends up unfinished. So you can request it, but I can't guarantee you'll ever see any result!
- You can see which fandoms I'll write in from the list in the memories, but the Kasabian fic was a ONE-OFF (you hearing me truntles and sour_kitty?) so don't ask for that coz it won't happen. They're evil to write. EEEEEVIL.
- The more specific you are, generally the better for me! Vague ideas don't usually spark much for me. But when people are specific and I have tighter ideas to work with I come up with something [and end up messing up the initial ideas but shush].
Uhm, that's about it for today I think. Well done if you got through all of that! And thanks in advance for all the comments and prompts and ideas you're going to leave me ;)
